Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero – How to Earn Zeni Quickly

In Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, players are going to want to unlock a ton of stuff like characters, outfits, and abilities. You can do it by just playing the game, but some might find it takes forever to so do.

That’s because unlocking everything costs millions of Zeni, and while you can earn some Zeni by going through the main content, that might not be enough for everyone. Luckily, there are ways to get Zeni a bit quicker. Whether you’re playing through main missions or using some farming methods, here’s how you can rack up a good amount of Zeni quick enough.

Episode Battles and Bonus Battles Are Key

One of the easiest ways to earn a solid chunk of Zeni in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is by playing through Episode Battles and Bonus Battles. Each time you finish a mission in Episode Battle mode, the game gives you 15,000 Zeni just for completing the missions.

Tip

You can also get Zeni from Shenron, Super Shenron, or Porunga when you summon them using the Dragon Balls.

That’s a pretty decent amount, and you’ll stack it up just by going through the story. So, by the time you’re done with one of the highlights of the game, you’ll already have a good pile of Zeni to spend.

Bonus Battles are even better in some cases. You can get around 30,000 Zeni for certain battles the first time you complete them.

Plus, you need to play these to unlock certain characters anyway, so while you’re doing that, you’ll earn plenty of money for other things, like outfits or battle abilities from the shop. By doing just these modes and not spending Zeni on characters, you’ll probably have enough for most things in the game.

There’s a Zeni Farming Method in Sparking Zero

Super Shenron does offer Zeni, but summoning it should be saved for later.

If you want to grind Zeni even faster, there’s a farming method that’s currently unpatched, but that might change in the future. It may not be the most fun or exciting thing in the game, but it gets the job done.

First, you’re going to need to buy the Rising Fighting Spirit item from the shop and equip it for whoever you’re going to play as. This item lets you start a match with more Ki, so you can use a super blast right away.

Once you’ve got that, set up an offline versus match. Choose the World Tournament stage and press L1 on PlayStation or LB on Xbox to turn on the out-of-bounds setting.

After that, pick a weak, non-flying character to fight against. Go into the match, use a blast super right at the start, and send them out of bounds. The match ends as soon as they get knocked out, and you’ll earn 1,000 Zeni for winning.

This isn’t a super fast way to earn Zeni, but it works if you keep retrying the match over and over. It only takes a few seconds to win each time, so the Zeni adds up pretty quickly. And you won’t have to sit through long battles either, just quick knockouts. It might get a little boring, but, it’s a reliable way to earn some extra cash if you need it.

While this farming method might not be the most thrilling way to play the game, it’s a steady way to earn Zeni without much effort. Combine it with the Zeni you get from Episode and Bonus Battles, and you should have enough to unlock pretty much everything in the shop pretty soon.
