Calm and quiet phone calls made to life insurance companies by Andre Rebelo — the crypto-trader accused of murdering his mother for that money — have been played to the jury who will decide his fate.

Mr Rebelo, now 28, is accused of killing his mother Colleen having first taken out three different policies against her life in the week before she died.
