Rhys Hamilton smashed his way into two Lakelands homes in broad daylight so he could go to jail with mates

A Mandurah man committed two terrifying daylight burglaries “because all his mates were in jail” and he wanted to join them, it was revealed in court on Friday.

Rhys Hamilton, 20, pleaded guilty via videolink from Casuarina Prison at Mandurah Magistrates Court to two counts of home burglary and two counts of stealing.
