Commonwealth Bank apologises after glitch duplicates customer transactions

Commonwealth Bank has apologised after some customer payments were unexpectedly repeated, allegedly leaving some accounts overdrawn.

On Saturday the bank posted on X – formerly known as Twitter – that “some customers are seeing duplicate transactions from payments”.
