LittleBigPlanet 3 is getting delisted this month

If you would like to own a digital copy of LittleBigPlanet 3, now is your last chance to do so.

In a recent statement posted on Twitter/X, Sony has announced that they are permanently pulling Little Big Planet 3 from its PS4 store. The game and all of its DLC will be removed on October 31. It is worth noting that players who have purchased the game or any of its DLC content beforehand will still be able to access the game.

Developed by Sumo Digital and released for both the PS3 and PS4, LittleBigPlanet 3 has always embraced the creativity of the fans. Players could create their own levels and share them online with others. The third title in the franchise even supported content from earlier entries.

However, the LBP 3 servers were officially shut down (via IGN) earlier this year due to technical difficulties and server issues caused by hackers, resulting in the loss of about 10 million online fan-made levels. Although players could still enjoy the official story mode and create their own levels, it is no doubt a huge blow to the franchise to lose such a popular feature.
