Your Week: Amanda’s Garden Fete, The Fabulous Caprettos and more happening in Perth this week

Today and tomorrow, 10am–4pm, Amanda’s Garden, Southern River

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Amanda’s Garden Fete at the junction of Margaret and Matison streets. Explore displays of Amanda Roses and various other roses, along with water features like a Monet Bridge. The garden paths are lined with trees such as jacarandas and magnolias. A selection of plants and seedlings donated by local nurseries will be available for sale. The event includes a Paddy’s Market, an art display, a treasure hunt for kids, a sausage sizzle and Devonshire teas with live music. Proceeds support the Amanda Young Foundation, established in memory of Amanda Young, who passed away from meningococcal septicaemia in 1998. For more details, visit www.amandayoungfoundation.org.au.
