Fortescue has vowed to keep pursuing three ex-employees it alleges stole intellectual property after winning a preliminary legal battle upholding dramatic, court-sanctioned raids of their start-up business and homes.

The miner is suing Bart Kolodziejczyk and Bjorn Winther-Jensen, accusing the two scientists of basing their start-up Element Zero around ionic iron processing technology developed while employed by the miner’s green arm, Fortescue Future Industries.
