The upcoming Pilbara wet season is expected to be more active than last year, as experts predict the region will return to a typical wet season.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology’s long-range forecasts, five cyclones are likely to form off the north-west coast, with two or three potentially becoming severe reaching category 3 or higher.
