Another restaurant closes in South MS. This one had survived opening during COVID pandemic

The doors are locked, the phone rings with no answer and the website was taken down at Martinis Biloxi.

The restaurant at 918 Howard Ave., across from the Biloxi Shuckers’ stadium and close to two downtown casinos, opened in the middle of the COVID pandemic in 2021.

Now it’s closed, along with Red Lobster in D’Iberville, the Salad Station in Ocean Springs, Krispy Kreme in Gulfport and Ocean Springs other restaurants and retail stores locally and across the country.

“Dine and drink with us, and catch the Gulf Coast’s hottest musicians & DJs playing live on our stage,” the owners previously posted online, along with details about brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

It had a prime location in downtown Biloxi, but this restaurant near Keesler baseball stadium has closed.

Online reviews mostly raved about the martinis, yet showed mixed impressions of the quality and service.

A Google search for the restaurant shows it is “permanently closed,” and business owners in the area said it hasn’t been open for about a week.

The front door of Martini’s Biloxi reflects the location of the now closed lounge and restaurant, across the street from Keesler Park and near Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.

Martinis Biloxi had a large outdoor area for drinks and entertainment, close to Keesler stadium.
