A beloved fast food chain with locations all over the United States is opening up another store in the Grand Strand, according to a media release sent Thursday morning.

A new Popeyes will open near the Coastal Grand Mall off of U.S. 501, Jared Postal, director of communication for Impeccable Development, said in the release.

The restaurant will be at at 2123 U.S. 501 in Myrtle Beach, and the grand opening is scheduled to take place on Oct. 29.

According to Postal, this location will include some of the brand’s newest technology, including the Popeyes 2.0 design with double drive-thru, mobile ordering and in-store ordering kiosks.

The menu features the Popeyes Signature Chicken, Classic Boneless Wings and chicken sandwiches.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce said in a release that this will be the third Popeyes in the Grand Strand and the first franchise owned by Impeccable Development in the area.

The Grand Strand got its first Popeyes location in 2016, according to previous reporting.

“We’re proud to introduce Popeyes to Myrtle Beach,” Rob Tanner, CEO at Impeccable Development, said in a press release. “This isn’t just about opening a restaurant; it’s about contributing to the community we love. We’re excited to create jobs, support local suppliers, and serve our neighbors delicious meals that bring a smile to their faces.”
