Difficult games are often the cause of a lot of frustration amongst players as they try really hard to grind their way forward. But the bar for acceptable amount of difficulty has risen in the recent past following the success of Elden Ring. Players have slowly started to embrace this as an opportunity to get better at a game.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is all set to release on October 11. The game is coming after a 15-year hiatus following it’s predecessor, Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which was released back in 2007. The game was a huge success upon release and fans have been waiting for another game for a very long time now.

However, this time around it will not be an easy journey for players. The game seems to be following in the footsteps of Elden Ring in terms of difficulty, since it is being considered a difficult game even in the story mode setting.

Fans are not mad about this aspect of the game anymore. They have embraced it in a healthy way. It is certain that the game is set to be quite challenging, but along with it also brings advanced graphics, improved gameplay mechanics, and a massive roster of characters from various Dragon Ball sagas. You will be seeing a lot of the classic characters make their way back into the game’s universe.

Due to the 15-year-old gap, the team got a lot of time to prepare a game that is bound to establish a new era for future games from the franchise. The game stays true to the anime style by incorporating a more cinematic feel from its predecessor.

The game will be releasing across platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. The game appears to be going in the right direction, and if things keep going its way, it is bound to surpass the higher bar set by its predecessor.

There are a lot of expectations riding on the game’s back since the 15-year-long wait has managed to increase a lot of hype. There are various versions of the game currently available on Steam, including a deluxe and ultimate edition that will allow players to get their hands on the game before its release.
