Last-ditch backers of disgraced promoter Chris Brown’s $100 million-plus betting scheme have sued his former lawyer for alleged porkies about bank accounts purportedly holding big winnings.

Burnt scheme punters Adam Fletcher and Stuart Campbell claim they gave Mr Brown almost $790,000 after lawyer Josh Hunt allegedly told them he was helping release scheme funds tied up by “regulatory issues”.
