Halo Infinite 2 Was Allegedly In Development Before The Switch To Unreal Engine

i mean its not finished so ofc that’s what it’s gonna look like because that probably was their starting point, its a game mode of infinite so I’m not sure what you’re expecting. That many resources? how many? if it looks so similar its most likely not THAT many resources.

This was most likely a 1 or 2 man job to see if they could get something to work that was fun, which is actually pretty common for studios to do. The gameplay and assets were already there, so I doubt any significant development time was spend on this. I’m not sure if you know how game development work, but once they start on levels, each dev has a map editor that can terraform very easily and has all the assets for them to place wherever they want.

Ofc in an unfinished map for a game mode they didn’t even know if they wanted to release nothing is gonna look spectacular because then they would have to use a significant amount of resources, which is not what you wanted I thought.
