How To Get the Sword Of Night And Flame

The Sword of Night and Flame is one of the most powerful and ruthless weapons in all of Elden Ring, dealing a tremendous amount of damage with each strike. One of the special characteristics of the Sword of Night and Flame is that it requires a high amount of intelligence and faith to use its properties and get the most out of it.

Players who meet these requirements will have a top sword in the game. This particular weapon is relatively simple to obtain, but the path to reach it is quite long and unclear. Here’s a guide on how to get the Sword of Night and Flame in the Elden Ring.

Where is the Sword of Night and Flame Located in Elden Ring?

Head to the Caria Manor in the Liurnia of the Lakes area to get the Sword of Night and Flame in Elden Ring.

As one of the most-used weapons in Elden Ring, like the Milady from Shadow of the Erdtree, the path to finding it may seem straightforward, but in reality, it’s an irregular and long journey. However, it’s well worth it.

First, you’ll need to head to the Liurnia of the Lakes area, where you must find the entrance to Caria Manor at the top-left part of the area. Just before you enter this location, you’ll find a Site of Lost Grace, which allows you to fast-travel later.

Stay on your mount until you reach this entrance to avoid the projectiles that will rain down from the sky as you approach Caria Manor. Once at the entrance, you’ll need to move immediately to the left as far as possible and literally dodge the giant hands on the ground.

Tip

If these hands grab you, they will typically deal you a single blow.

By staying to the left, you’ll come across rocks that help you avoid most of the hands. Keep avoiding them and you’ll be able to get the weapon eventually.

Getting the Weapon Without Fighting Any Enemies

Going toward the left side you will avoid every enemy to get this sword.

As you continue along the left side, you’ll eventually reach a place with stone stairs where you can enter. Right at this spot, you’ll encounter several hands around the stairs.

Once you enter the building, ascend the stairs to the right, where you will discover another Site of Lost Grace, which you can access later. Next to this grace site, you will find a window and a bridge that you can cross, both of which will be inhabited by enemies.

While crossing the bridge, avoid fighting any enemies and keep going straight until you find another bridge on the left. Once on the second bridge, continue again, but this time to the right to reach another stone bridge.

Before you cross this particular bridge completely, you’ll notice a building below on which you can jump. Once you’ve made the jump, proceed to the left to reach another stone platform.

This platform features a square hole and a ladder that leads down. You’ll need to jump onto this roof. Once you’re on the final roof, go down the ladder, and there you will find a chest containing the coveted Sword of Night and Flame.
