Silent Hill 2 Remake: Complete Trophy List

With the release of Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 Remake, horror fans have been reliving the experience that showed not all spooks have to be the jumpscare variety. With tasteful changes to the original, the remake’s developer has made it so even veteran players have something new to experience.

By bringing the 2001 release to 2024, the team had to also implement some current-generation staples and one of them was to add Trophy and Achievement support to the title. It adds a new dimension when playing the game, and some of the trophies require you to thoroughly explore the world in order to Platinum Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Silent Hill 2 Remake has some old faces and new challenges for the player.

While Trophies don’t count for anything other than bragging rights, they are a great motivator to truly squeeze everything out of a title. Whether it’s by using every weapon in the game, beating a certain number of enemies, or simply beating the story mode on the toughest difficulty, these achievements can become quite an obsession for many gamers, and the same is true for Silent Hill 2 Remake.

The game comes with a total of 44 Trophies. While some are unlocked organically by simply progressing through the story, others require a bit more exploration and can be missed entirely.

Unlike games like Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster with its collectibles, there is no free-roam, chapter selection, or backtracking in Silent Hill 2 Remake. So, you may need more than two playthroughs to get that coveted Platinum.

Tip

Silent Hill 2 Remake has 20 missable Trophies that the player will need to know about to ensure they get it the first time.

While some games do have a requirement to play on a certain difficulty to unlock Trophies, Silent Hill 2 Remake places no such restriction. You can get through the entire experience on ‘Light’ and still work towards the Platinum. You will need 2 full playthroughs to unlock all Trophies, and some partial ones to get all the endings.

Don’t let the fog cloud your vision when aiming for that Platinum.

With over 20 Trophies that you can miss out on without prior knowledge, it makes sense to have an understanding of where to look. While the Trophies may not be as difficult to find as the new guns in Shattered Space, you will need to keep your eye out for certain items.

If you would like to experience the game organically, then we suggest clicking off now as some of the Trophies will spoil parts of the story for you.

  • Tinfoil Hat: Reach the “UFO” ending. A third New Game+ ending that requires you to find the Blue Gem and use it in four locations to unlock it.
  • I Saw That Town: Complete New Game+ on any difficulty.
  • Radio Silence: Complete the game without using the radio. You can turn off the radio by highlighting it in your inventory, but you need to do this quickly as soon as you get it.

  • Pieces Unarranged: Collect all the Strange Photos in a single playthrough. There are 26 to be found throughout the game.
