On Steam, Until Dawn debuted with only 2,607 concurrent players, making it Sony’s worst-performing PC port since titles like Concord and Sackboy: A Big Adventure.

Yes, it requires a PlayStation Network (PSN) account. Players were surprised by the remake’s PSN requirement, a feature that seems out of place for a single-player game. The need to log into PlayStation Network even on Steam has not sat well with fans one bit.

And this isn’t the first time Sony has pulled this move either. This requirement has become a point of contention in Sony’s recent PC releases, and until it is addressed, gamers will continue to hate it.
