This is how to defeat Magma Wyrm Makar in the latest Soulslike project. The game developers of FromSoftware did not hold back from delivering the promise of making another great video game experience that encourages the player base to try harder than they ever have before.

Defeating Magma Wyrm Makar is not required to progress through the main story; however, most players will feel inclined to take their chances against this overpowered boss. Fortunately, there are other easier methods to beat it but it takes a while and a lot of arrows.

Magma Wyrm Makar is a Great Enemy that requires great effort to defeat.

FromSoftware learned from its past projects and dialed everything to an eleven in Elden Ring. There is no shortage of optional boss fights in this Soulslike adventure, and there are more than enough enemies with great variety to keep the player base occupied as they juggle through different equipment and builds best suited for any occasion.

The Magma Wyrm Makar is a Great Enemy located at Ruin-Strewn Precipice in northern Liurnia of the Lakes, and players can mind their own business to avoid suffering the wrath of this behemoth of a dragon. However, staying clear from this enemy is missing out on an opportunity to improve their combat skills.

Before entering the arena, it is best to have a strong loadout of ranged or sorcery weapons to take down Magma Wyrm Makar from a distance.

There are two ways to beat Magma Wyrm Makar and they are quite fun but also dangerous. There is a flaw with how this optional boss fight is designed and upon entering the arena, there is a large pillar that can be used to hide behind by players and Magma Wyrm Makar will not do anything to reach them. The enemy boss will stay in place leaving it vulnerable to ranged attacks.

Elden Ring players can equip their bows with a strong upgrade and unload a flurry of poison arrows aimed at the wingtips of the dragon. Continue doing so until the health bar depletes and Magma Wyrm Makar will be defeated without a sweat. Unfortunately, this method requires plenty of arrows and it takes a while to see progress.

The other method is much more risky and thrilling since it requires players to get up close and intimate within the range of Magma Wyrm Makar to deal melee damage. Players will want to reach the tail side and deal the most damage on that side; however, this will make them much more susceptible to incoming attacks that are easy to evade.

Magma Wyrm Makar Is One of the More Tedious Optional Elden Ring Bosses

The melee approach is best suited for players with a modest build; however, they should also be alert and know when to dodge all fire-related attacks of Magma Wyrm Makar. It is worth noting that summons can be used in this fight and they could distract the enemy boss long enough for players to get near his tail and throw a few light and heavy combo attacks.

The melee approach is similar to the Tree Sentinel, players should avoid playing aggressively and take their time. Avoid taking chances or the risk of being struck like the Magma Charge where the dragon will spew fire underneath itself making it hard for players to hit the tail. Players can dodge to the right side and avoid all fire attacks.

The dragon has a sweeping attack that can push Elden Ring players back a bit. Dodging backward before being hit can save players’ health and time for recovery. Magma Wyrm Makar is a dragon and FromSoftware will have a field day if the developers do not add a dragon breath attack. Running in one direction until it stops spewing fire is one way to get around this attack.

Keeping these countermeasures against its attacks is key to players’ survival and victory. Melee and ranged methods are all effective; however, players should go in with a leveled head and their supply of patience is full. Beating this enemy will grant players 18000 runes, Magma Wyrm’s Scalesword, and Dragon Heart.
