Perth is tuning out of talkback radio.

In the latest ratings, released on Tuesday and covering the period from July 7 to September 14, ABC Perth rated seventh after another fall of 0.3 per cent.

Talkback stalwart 6PR sat in fifth place after an overall audience decrease of 0.5 per cent.

Their breakfast crew, Steve Mills and Karl Langdon, lost 1.2 per cent of listeners who opted to tune out during their early morning commute to work.

Also tumbling in popularity was ABC Radio Perth’s Afternoons with Michael Tetlow which held just 3.5 per cent of the timeslot audience after losing another 0.6 per cent of listeners.
