Starfield has huge weapon variety and users will soon find out what works best for them. One of the powerful weapons they’ll come to know about in the game is the Eternity’s Gate. They need to reach a certain point to get that.

It is simply obtained by killing the Emissary, a Starborn that holds capacity to show you stars in the morning, hence the name, Emissary’s Rifle. Now how do you get your hands on that? More on it below.

Eternity's Gate from Starfield can be seen alongside its stats.
The users will get Eternity’s Gate after killing The Emissary.

That is a part of the main quest in the game, which is where the users are introduced to the Emissary and the Hunter. That’s a long journey but have some patience to bear that fruit.

Now the Starfield users will have to pick a side. That’s a tough one but the decision has to be made. You will be offered dialogues that will affect what will happen in the quest. Either choose Emissary or Hunter, or neither of them.

There are a couple of options that will get you that powerful weapon. Either choose the Hunter or neither. You will get to fight and kill the Emissary when you side with the Hunter. Defeat him and the weapon is yours.

Tip

You may want to level up beforehand. The fight may get tricky.

When none of the sides are chosen, that gives a fair advantage to both the enemies but defeating them will also get you both Unmitigated Violence and Eternity’s Gate.

The Emissary is seen speaking a dialogue.
The users can either side The Emissary or The Hunter, or neither.

If you choose to side with The Hunter (oh, you evil evil gamer), the Emissary will become the final boss. You better keep those persuasion skills handy, as you might have to use them during the quest.

Nevertheless, the storyline will be affected slightly following the choices. The user will have to make his way through a barrage of Starborns as he makes his way to the final artifact.

As you are allied with The Hunter, The Emissary will be there at the end as the final boss. Now you can either use persuasion, which is one way to avoid that fight, and the Eternity’s Gate for that matter.

But then, if you are fighting him, killing him will net you the Eternity’s Gate. The rifle comes with a lot of power, where every fourth shot will fire a couple of projectiles at the same time.

Or if you are getting too greedy, just don’t choose either side. You’ll get to kill both of them and snatch their weapons off their bodies.

Which is your favorite of the two in Starfield? Unmitigated Violence or Eternity’s Gate? We would like to know about it in the comments section below.
