Brisbane star Josh Dunkley told his teammates to use the Western Bulldogs’ 2016 premiership as inspiration and evidence that it was possible to win the flag despite missing the top four.

Dunkley created his own piece of AFL history by becoming the only man to ever win two premierships after finishing outside the top four.
