You may not expect the system requirements for a game’s expansion to vary wildly, but it does happen. It’s better to step into such content fully prepared, and to that end, we have a complete overview of the Starfield Shattered Space system requirements. The most significant change is, of course, the increased storage space requirements!

You’ll find that the system requirements for Shattered Space mimic those of the base game, which is to be expected. Bethesda wouldn’t risk increasing the PC requirements for an expansion, as it would potentially alienate current and prospective players significantly. Overall, Starfield and Shattered Space aren’t the most demanding of experiences, but if you want to max out graphical settings, you’ll need a semi-powerful system.

If you want to jump into Starfield: Shattered Space on day one, you’ll have to buy the expansion for $29.99 or download it as part of the Digital Premium Edition, which costs $99.99.
