Erie County, Pa. has spent roughly $41 million in ARPA funds. Where did the funds go?

As of Sept. 1, Erie County expended $41,895,579 out of roughly $52 million in American Rescue Plan funds, according to the latest ARP financial documents obtained by the Erie Times-News.

Here’s a look at where those funds went:

Erie County Redevelopment Authority

  • Urban Renewal and Community Development: $2,779,500

  • Entrepreneurship: $587,500

  • New Small Business Grant Program: $150,000

  • Shuttered Venue Grant Program: $1,474,991

  • Property Acquisition: $3 million

  • Municipal Infrastructure: $2 million

LEAD Assets Grants

  • Erie County Historical Society: $111,111

  • Erie Arts and Culture: $111,111

  • Flagship Niagara League: $111,111

  • Experience Children’s Museum: $111,111
