China’s escalating cyberespionage campaign against the U.S. and its allies is one of the more overlooked stories, yet its stakes are intensifying. As cyber-attacks ramp up, top China cybersecurity expert Samm Sacks argues that the U.S. must decide whether to take a hardline approach in regulating critical industries vulnerable to attack. “Our system is so vulnerable,” says Sacks, we could find ourselves “essentially rebuilding it from scratch.”
