It was an explosive day on General Hospital that ended with a surprising phone call on the September 27, 2024 episode.

Sparks Fly

After Jason (Steve Burton) and Anna’s (Finola Hughes) shocking jail cell kiss, they were brought outside to be killed while Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) fought Sidwell (Carlo Rota, who recently dished on his daytime debut). As everyone battled, Holly (Emma Samms) managed to sneak off, leaving them to fend for themselves.

When the WSB dropped a bomb on Sidwell’s camp in attempt to help them, Jason and Anna made it through the flames to go rescue Lucky, who was just about to be killed by Sidwell. After Jason took the crime lord down and the three finally escaped, it was Holly who rolled up in Sidwell’s truck to save everyone.

One Phone Call

While on the jet home to Port Charles, Anna caught Lucky up on Lulu’s (about to be played by Alexa Havins) condition while Sidwell made it out of his burning camp, telling his remaining men that he was determined to find Holly. “She has my diamonds!” he revealed, while Holly kept her bag safe and sound on the jet.

The four wouldn’t be back in New York until the morning, and when Anna asked Lucky if she could do anything for him, he told her he needed to make a call. That was when the phone at the GH nurses station rang and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) answered.

Although Lucky already hallucinated about seeing Elizabeth while locked up at Sidwell’s camp, this marks the start of LL2’s official reunion.
