You deserve to play a game that runs smoothly whenever you boot it up. Unfortunately, that’s not often the case. More frequently than developers care to admit, modern video games launch unoptimized and buggy. But with a few tweaks, you can run the hottest MMORPG blowing up on Steam. Here are the best PC settings to improve performance in Throne and Liberty!

If you find that Throne and Liberty, the latest MMORPG published by Amazon, doesn’t run as smoothly as you’d like on PC, then you have plenty of graphical settings options to tweak. There’s a lot of choice here, allowing you to tweak the game and how it looks to your liking. These are recommendations, though.

  • FSR/DLSS Upscaling: Performance or Ultra Performance
  • Resolution: Native
  • Frame Rate Limit: No Limit
  • VSync: Off
  • Resolution Rate: 100%
  • Optimize Large-Scale Combat: On
  • Use DirectX12: On
  • Depth of Field: Off
  • Motion Blur: Off
  • Chromatic Aberration: Off
  • Anti-Aliasing: Low
  • Lens Flare: Off
  • Shader Preloading: Epic
  • Anisotropic Filtering: x16
  • Effects Quality: High
  • Post Processing: High
  • Vegetation Quality: Low
  • Shading Quality: High
  • Shadow Quality: Low
  • Distant Shadow Quality: Low
  • Hair Strands: Disable
  • Visual Fidelity: Medium or Low
  • Character Count: Low
  • Delay Camera Rotation: Off
  • Camera Shake Effects: Off

Nearly every other setting in the game, go ahead and change to suit your preferences and system hardware!

  • To control your character and camera, I recommend using Classic Mode for greater precision and that old-school feel, especially if you’re coming from an MMORPG like World of Warcraft or EverQuest 2!
  • Turn off “Auto-Move to Interactive Target“; otherwise, you risk misclicking in the middle of combat and making a costly mistake.
