How to play local co-op

Local co-op is the perfect way to share the Lego Horizon Adventures experience while sitting side-by-side with your co-op partner. It allows for drop-in/drop-out play so you can access it anytime. All you need is two PlayStation or Switch controllers.

Step 1: Start up Lego Horizon Adventures on PS5 or Nintendo Switch.

Step 2: Complete the prologue section.

Step 3: When the option appears on the bottom right of the screen, press the Options button on the second controller to join the game.

How to play Lego Horizon Adventures online co-op

Being on PS5 and Switch, Lego Horizon Adventures also features online co-op with full cross-platform support. Here’s how to connect online.

Step 1: Complete the prologue chapter.

Step 2: Press the Options button to open the menu.

Step 3: Invite your friend from your friends list to join your game.

Co-op in Lego Horizon Adventures is drop-in/drop-out, meaning you don’t have to stop playing a stage for a friend to join or leave your game. However, do note that co-op is limited to only two players either locally or online.
