Mandurah Line: Technical issue causes major train disruption between Perth Underground and Cockburn Central

Train commuters are experiencing huge delays on the Mandurah Line, with some taking hours to get to their destination.

In a statement on its alerts website, Transperth said a technical issue had caused the cancellation of trains between Perth Underground and Cockburn Central.

Instead, train replacement buses are running between Elizabeth Quay and Cockburn Central.

“Please allow extra travelling time and be aware that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services,” Transperth said.

Travellers need to catch bus routes 30, 31, 34 and 950 to go between Perth Underground and Mandurah.

The technical issue is also causing headaches on the Yanchep Line.
