WA Museum Boola Bardip has raised eyebrows after acquiring a piece of perspex glass that saved an Australian masterpiece from being defaced by a climate activist.

The museum acquired the perspex that was protecting Frederick McCubbin’s Down on His Luck when Disrupt Burrup Hub’s Joana Partyka graffitied a Woodside logo on it at the Art Gallery of Western Australia in January last year.
